MATTHEW HYDZIK (Tony in West Side Story)
Highlight of 2010: “My highlight was a moment that may have only lasted for a few seconds but I swear was, and is, an eternity. Usually when your heart speeds up and time/space comes to a virtual halt, you find yourself in life-threatening fight or flight situation. Mine however, occurred when I found myself surrounded by my whole family and closest friends, two seconds after I had become a husband. I don't know how long I stood there holding my new brand new wife or how long everyone had been clapping, but it was the greatest moment that I've ever lived. It happened in the early evening of August 1, 2010, in a little church in the middle of Pennsylvania. And I swear I'm still there, and that moment is going on forever and ever.”
Resolution for 2011: “It's is more of a goal, I guess: I love to run and I've always wanted to complete a marathon. So, I'm going to start training for one in 2011! I'll probably start small, training for a half marathon and run that. Then, I'm going to choose a full marathon and pick one of my favorite charities to run for.”
